IMG 3136 IMG 3139 Wilson kept saying, "That was a great idea, Kevin!" IMG 3142 Ali thought Roxy would like to ride, but they didn't get more than a few inches. IMG 3149
IMG 3151 Roxy preferred to run. IMG 3158 IMG 3165 Family Portrait 2013.01.05 Our family portrait
IMG 3255 The Valentine's Party challenge was to stack as many candy hearts as you could. IMG 3257 Wilson showed a lot of focus. IMG 3260 and concentration. IMG 3262 A little bit of frustration.
IMG 3267 This was his tallest stack! IMG 3268 Then you get to eat the hearts! IMG 3269 IMG 3270 Wilson's Valentine mailbox
IMG 3272 Ms. Meek was Wilson's student aid teacher IMG 3274 Ms. Teresa was Wilson's in-class aid IMG 3276 IMG 3277 Jade

IMG 3321 On the way from Ohio to Texas, we stopped in Dickson, TN where we caught up with Wilson's very first pediatrician who helped us through the toughest first months of his life, Dr. Mary McNeal.

P1000449 P1000451 P1000434 Wilson was pretty good at the petting zoo. P1000448
P1000457 2014-03-12 11.15.52 Wilson made it across the monkey bars himself for the first time! There are 6 rings and he made it twice! 2014-03-15 18.40.40 We found a slot car club. Wilson borrowed this NASCAR to race for a while. I lost track, but he got to do about 160 laps on their track last Saturday night. 2014-03-22 09.29.49 Wilson sees his first Longhorn at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
2014-03-22 10.54.38 2014-03-22 11.20.06 Amy thought this was a great shirt! P1000462 I told Wilson to make a face like he's playing guitar. P1000465
P1000468 The ferris wheel was his most exciting ride. Mommy said she liked it best, too. P1000471 P1000474 P1000483
P1000491 P1000493 If you tell Ford (big sponsor) all about your plans to buy a vehicle in the near future, you get a turn on their radio-controlled trucks. They gave Wilson a hat. Amy pointed out they should have given ME a different hat as well. She signed to me across the venue: 'hat' 'error'. P1000494 I tried to get Wilson out of jams; sometimes he didn't even have his hand on the steering wheel... P1000495
P1000497 They asked Wilson to demonstrate the tractor pull sled. P1000501 The host commented that Wilson was, "full of energy!" and "Never a quiet moment in your house?" P1000509 Wilson did great in the elimination round. P1000510 He got all the way to 25ft.
P1000511 He worked hard! P1000512 They doubled his pull weight for the real pull. P1000515 He got an extra push from Skippy. P1000516 He tried so hard, but didn't quite make it through the first round.
P1000518 We went on the day of the llama and alpaca shows. This one received a blue ribbon for something. P1000519 Wilson thought the stadium was enormous. Since we were in the nose-bleed section, the seating was very steep! P1000521 This was our view. IMG 3333 On 29 March, we attended the third annual Ranch Roundup on the Warren Ranch ? Harris County?s largest working cattle ranch.
IMG 3340 Wilson learned to lasso. IMG 3342 IMG 3346 He even made it a few times! IMG 3349
IMG 3354 He got to brush horses just his size. IMG 3357 They even had a tot's branding race. IMG 3361 Dunk a mop head in chalk, run down to this lasso target, "brand" it, and run back. IMG 3366 Wilson did it many times and his new friend loved it, too.
IMG 3372 IMG 3374 High fives all around. IMG 3384 Toward the end, Wilson wanted me to take some Senior Photo-type shots of him on the farm equipment. IMG 3394 This is his silly smile face.
IMG 3395 Look at those teeth! IMG 3412 Afterward, we also visited the train station in downtown Katy, where the MKT railroad went through town. It went from Missouri and Kansas to Texas. Of local importance, it hauled rice from this area to Houston, 30 miles to the east. The town got its name from the last two letters, or so the folk story goes. IMG 3413 There's even a caboose to examine!
